BRIAN STOWE It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Stowe announces his passing. Brian lived a full and wonderful life and passed away quietly in his sleep on May 16, 2004. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Cyril and Rose Stowe. He is survived by his son Grant (Cath) in England and all of his grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Brian; and his beloved niece Sharon (Grant) and nephews, Allan (Jan) and their children Jeff and Jenn, and Tony (Gwen) and their children Cynthia, Steven and Ian. He will be greatly missed by his sisters, Brenda and Thelma; and his brothers, Russell, Dereck, Desmond, Lesley and Phillip as well as his friends in England and Canada. Brian was born in England on August 18, 1937 and arrived in Canada in the early sixties to be with his family. He worked in England as a skilled plater for 20 years and in the laundry department at St. Boniface Hospital for 30 years. Brian was a passionate man with a kindness that permeated the air around him. He had an exuberant spirit and found great delight in sports like golf, hockey, and soccer. He will be remembered fondly by his friend and companion, Ann, who took joy in making him special treats and whose family lovingly welcomed him into their hearts. Brian will be sorely missed and greatly remembered by his devoted family who will never forget his great love of life, his booming voice, his infectious laugh, and, above all, his gracious spirit and his generous heart. Brian, we will miss you, but take comfort in knowing that you have found peace. God Bless. Brian Stowe Memorial Service will be held at the Rockwood A.N.A.F. Unit 303, 341 Wilton St. on Thursday, May 20 at 12:00 noon. God looked at his garden, And found an empty space. He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you, And lifted you to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful He only takes the best.
